Pat Gallinger Executive Director

Pat Gallinger is the Executive Director of Springwood Retirement Campus. She was appointed Executive Director in March of 2000. From 1989 to 2000, she worked at Springwood as the assistant to her mentor and former administrator, Jane Hawthorne. Ms. Gallinger managed the administrative and financial activities of our community, and directed the Human Resources and Payroll Departments. In 1991, she developed and directed Springwood's independent resident care program, Companion Plus. Pat has over 25 years of experience in health care, and has a long-standing commitment to advocacy for the elderly.

Pat is married, and has two daughters and eight grandchildren.

Barb Stephens Director of Marketing

Barb has her BA in Counseling Psychology, she started her career in the elder care industry when she graduated from Mesa State University in 1995.
Barb has a true love for helping elders and families work through all the challenges that come with getting older and in their search for resources that will help both the elder and their loved ones feel like they are still in control. She has helped many elders and loved ones in their search for a community to call home while she had her own placement company in the Denver Metro Area. Through this experience, she has received such a deep understanding of what elders really want, that of feeling valuable and relevant.

Barb is married, has one daughter.

Chris Jaramillo Culinary Director & Chef

Chris attended courses at the Art Institute of Colorado culinary program, and trained for 12 years with his mentor and former Culinary Director, Fred Batchelor. Since he started in 2001, Chris has taken pride in creating menus that meet and exceed the needs and wants of every resident. Through Chris, the Springwood Retirement Community has built a reputation for food excellence, and we are happy to have him with us.

Outside of work, Chris loves spending time relaxing outdoors with his beautiful wife, Stephanie, and their three children.

Mary Besson Nightingale Suites Director

Mary Besson brings more than 16 years of assisted living experience to Springwood, and she currently works as the Nightingale Suites Director. She holds both bachelors and masters degrees in Health Services Administration, and after years of experience in senior living, Mary brings a fresh approach to our team.

Mary enjoys spending time with family and friends, and she takes advantage of the many outdoor opportunities found in Colorado.

Kelli Mosley Nightingale Lane Director

Kelli began her career at Springwood in 1999 as the Resident Services Director for memory care at Nightingale Lane, and was promoted to Director in 2003. She has over twenty years of experience in assisted living for seniors, specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Kelli is an advocate for the residents, and she works to ensure they receive the highest quality of care. She motivates her staff to be innovative regarding the care of our seniors, and she has an ability to make each resident’s day with her positive attitude approach.

Kelli is a Denver native and proud mother of two beautiful daughters. She appreciates the beauty of Colorado, and spends time camping, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Sandy Sprawls Housekeeping Director

Sandy started at Springwood in 2008, and was later promoted to Director of Housekeeping. She manages a staff of eight employees, and takes pride in serving the residents of Springwood the best way possible.

Sandy was born in Denver, and has been married since 2003. Her and her family love the outdoors, and Sandy spends a lot of time tending to her flower garden or camping in the mountains.

Dave Harrison Maintenance Director

Dave has been with Elkco Properties for over twenty years. He came to Springwood in February of 2000, and has worked hard since as the Maintenance Director of the community.
